We recently had a jacket made for my husband for a special occasion , for the very expensive price we paid the quality was terrible!!! It never laid properly in the back , they tried to fix but not much improvement. I told the tailor when my husband tried on it didn’t look right and he totally dismissed me. After bringing it home and my husband seeing the back of it he agreed and took it back for repair, as I said it wasn’t much improved The lining doesn’t lay flat, very sloppy work for a custom tailor and for the price tag. He likes to brag about quality but talking doesn’t change the reality. We were at a wedding and the first time wearing the button fell off while my husband was having a conversation , absolutely unbelievable. My husband went back to complain expressed his embarrassment and the poor quality of workmanship. They don’t care , they have the money. Never again , and I would suggest getting a Hugo boss jacket at a third of the cost !!!!! Beware
I have been coming to Stoney Creek Tailors for close to 15 years. They have custom made me many shirts, pants a few suits. All a perfect fit, from working out a lot pre-dad bod to full on dad-bod with no time to workout. I wish people could peer into the store and see the staff in the back room where the magic happens. Material on racks, sewing machines pumping and tape measures catching everything. The choices for material can be overwhelming but they offer their opinion to help when needed. It is fun seeing the first timers in the store..."I can choose my buttons, the stitching colour, one cuff larger for a watch???, really?" I just smile as I know they, like me, will be back over and over. Herman, you have a great team and will I continue the 600km drive to have you fit me up. Thank you. Aaron
These guys have been the best to work with for my upcoming wedding. Not only have they shown the upmost professionalism in dealing with myself and all my groomsmen, they have also made the whole experience feel very personal and enjoyable. Very flexible and willing to work around our very difficult schedules. I am very excited to the result of their hardwork and masterful tailoring in my custom suit.
