Malibu Tan (former Tan Factory) - St. Thomas

I have no issues taking off my shoes when the salt is so bad. It is only for a short while and then shoes are welcome again. The salt is just too much to try and clean up and make the place look horrible.
They have a radio that plays and even if it is not my style of music it helps me during my therapy. When someone comes in with their own music which they play loud enough that it interferes with listening to the music being piped in right by my head, I can only describe it as selfish and disrespectful. I did not get therapy today; I just got another taste of the self-centeredness of some people. It was horrible.

The staff is friendly, the beds are tidy and clean.
The shoe policy is the only negative,
Having to remove your shoes when u enter and have to step on wet carpet is not good.
They need a better system for that IMHO.

I love this place. Started going approximately 7 years ago. The staff is extremely friendly and always try to answer any questions I may have. I only go typically June-September but the staff always remember me by name. I love the new beds that have been installed since ownership was changed a few years ago. The staff keep the facility and beds respectfully clean. The weekend hours are tricky to manage some weekends, but understandable that staff would like time for themselves too.
