Customers have praised the friendly and helpful staff at Pet Valu stores. In one instance, a customer with a rescue dog who was having integration issues was immediately assisted by a kind employee named Jennifer. Jennifer fitted the dog with an inflatable collar, checked on the dog's injury, and offered to help dress the wound. The customer was grateful for Jennifer's compassionate and supportive approach, which made them feel like a friend rather than just a paying customer.

Another customer reported that the service at Pet Valu is still top-notch, even after the store moved to a larger location with more options. The staff are described as helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Additionally, the self-serve dog wash at the Smiths Falls Pet Valu location was praised for being clean, well-designed, and convenient, with a variety of shampoo choices and an apron to keep customers dry.

Overall, Pet Valu is known for its commitment to providing pets and their owners with excellent products, services, and a welcoming, supportive environment.
