Ladi and his crew put in 2 interlock walkways (~175 and ~100sq.ft?), and for our asphalt driveway he had a separate paver team rip up/ completely repave it. Driveway base appeared to be a substantial bed of the correct crush run/gravel, topping that with a good layer of asphalt that they rolled well (very smooth, edges are nice and no crumbly poorly compacted spots). Regraded some areas to allow good drainage. After a year, no signs of shoddy work but of course we cant really know til several years go by. Interlock looks great and is also nicely graded to prevent pooling. Meets up perfectly with adjoining asphalt. Good thick base of crush stone and some special granite screening (i requested extra thick base to allow parking). No stones heaving or falling away after a year. Lots of stones needed cutting , curvy edges were done expertly. The polymeric sand was vibrated in nicely with their compactor machine - on one walkway. Whoever did the 2nd walkway didnt finish compacting and left some spots without enough sand. Had to get that corrected. Also one of the workers was careless and damaged a cable (Id even warned the boss). LG repaired it. If u have things above or below grade that must be protected (in addition to the locates etc) Id suggest marking them well as a reminder. But overall a great job done for much cheaper than our other quotes. Our requests were listened to. Ladi is pretty easy to talk to, offers useful suggestions, did the work when he said they would, crew cleaned up the site well. Would certainly call him again for our next job.
We are very satisfied with hiring LG construction. Ladi and his crew were on time and very professional. Ladi is very detail-oriented and organized. We strongly recommend him to everyone who needs stonework.
We are vey happy with the work LG Construction did on the concrete work in October 2020 that we rehired his company to do the retaining wall on the property in October 2021. Ladi was on time, completed the work in the time frame he quoted and on budget. On both jobs we gave the outline what we would like done and he in turn has advise what some alternative might be better. The alternative were better then we taught of. The work was expertly done; job site was maintain and cleaned to a high standard. We are looking forward to working on additional project we have in mind to do with Ladi.
