Don't bother wasting your time coming to the emerge here. I've been in a lot of pain but because my tests were normal, they pretty well brushed it off and said that there was nothing more they can do. I would have just stayed home and suffered through the pain I've been dealing with if I knew that this would be the end result of going to emerge. Rather than waste my time sitting in emerge to leave in just as much pain as when I got there. So thanks, Petrolia Hospital. I honestly didn't think it'd even possible for me to hate hospitals more than I already do but you managed to do just that. This hospital and the Sarnia hospital, are honestly a joke. Majority of the staff treat you like you're less than, have an attitude problem and they are very dismissive.

My daughter who has had a ongoing medical issue had to go the ER today. The wait wasn't long at all, the male doctor working was unkind and unpleasant. Offered zero assistance and even as she sat crying her eyes out all he could do was dismiss her and tell her good luck. Disgusting behavior coming from a doctor. She left in tears with zero help at all.

Petrolia hospital is just useless. Went there at 8:00 pm because my son may have pneumonia, am told by the person who checks in patients that there is no triage and no one for x-rays and to come back at 7:30am! Seriously I thought this hospital was equipped for 24 hr emergency service. We were told to come back when they have staff or go to Sarnia 1/2 away to wait for a minimum of 5 hrs to be seen by a dr. This is absolute nonsense when the ontario govt is giving them money to help the hospital. Hire some staff to help the people of petrolia and surrounding area for god sakes!!! A very angry Tax payer!

Doctor ; what have i done for yu to treat me like that ? Absolutely nothing !.. i was and STILL AM in a lot of pain because of you 😭 ... or is it a lack of accountability that enable your neglect & abuse ?! ... i wish that you too would be deprived of care when you need it very much ! ... you are a disgrace

The receptionists and all the staff at Petrolia Hospital are so kind, compassionate and amazing. Unfortunately I’ve had to be there many times since moving here and everyone has always been so kind and helpful. I greatly greatly appreciate having this hospital in our beautiful town
