If Jennifer is the nurse that checks your vitals before you get seen by the doctor you will be blamed for getting sick, she will give you unsolicited parenting advice basically saying that my husband cannot care for our 3 children without me and insists I get a sitter right now.The doctor had so much attitude as well. He said it’s a waste of time to check me, when I still have my medication. Which I have been taking over 2 weeks now, symptoms shouldn’t come back anymore after getting better but it’s whatever I just left. Thank you for everyone’s help.This wasn’t my first time here. I wonder what happened to the staff.
I visited Bluewater Health Emergency Dept - Petrolia site early am Nov 8, 2022 with severe abdominal pain. Was seen quite quickly considering it was the start of the morning shift. Staff were pleasant and my nurse Lisa was so caring and kept checking back to see how things were doing. Best needle and IV nurse ever. I commended her as I didnt feel a thing. After things were stable I was sent to Sarnia for an emergency CT scan. Screening ladies were awesome upon entering. Cant really say much for the rest of the service there. Dr I saw in emerg was great. Very thorough and great bedside manner....I think it was a doctor Canon or Gannon...great personality. Made suggestions...read full review
It has been in beautiful historic Petrolia for many, many years. Excellent caring staff and doctors. Very well maintained building. I have gone to this hospital all my life, and would not willingly change. My youngest son was saved from whooping cough when he was an infant because of the excellent doctor and staff care and support he received.
