SAFEGUARD ELECTRIC
“Decided finally to have an all home generator installed and found Safeguard on line. I had a Generac installed in my last home 13 years ago and thought they were all the same. The owner, Kevin, came out to our home to size up the job and convinced me Cummins was the way to go. I couldn’t argue his logic, knowledge and expertise! He suggested a 13 kw would do the job but I requested a 17 kw, my idea, not his. We struck a deal and set a date for work to occur. The generator arrived, was placed on a gravel bed and platform and looked great. Not a huge outfit like my previous. Instal day arrived and Kevin and his very professional crew got started on the installation. The guys were courteous, very knowledgeable, and worked steadily on the incredible amount of work and effort this would take! No coffee breaks, no cell phones out, just keeping their eye on the ball. It took approximately 6 hours and the job was complete. Owen explained the registration process of the unit with Cummins, helped me along with the app that allows me to monitor and remote start if I wish, and then the crowning moment,,,,, shut off the power to the house and within 5 seconds the unit fired up and transferred power to the house and away it went, flawless!! Power back on, the unit waited awhile, as designed, to ensure the power wasn’t tripped out again, and the unit transferred power with a click! Fantastic!! Thank you to Kevin, Owen, Rob and the Safeguard office for a great experience and no nonsense!! Keep up the great work you do!
