amazing customer service! had an issue with a record purchased several months back. (2 LP set, with 2 copies of 1st record. manufacture defect, not fault of the store) was only just opened several months later. no receipt. emailed, got a response. in an hour. shipped it back (out of province) and received replacement within days. very responsive, a pleasure to deal with. can't recommend them enough.

Been here a couple of time now and found some very nice gems each time. Will definitely come back. They’ve got a very wide selection of new and used. Not 100% sure but I’m pretty sure some of my finds at this store are rare, at least in Ottawa, as I have not seen them around town. Shop is clean and pleasant to be in, organized and imho very nicely curated. They have some very nice reggae, hip hop, and indie music plus all the usual suspects from other genres. A very nice and fruitful place to do some digging. Their $1 vinyl selection might be the biggest in the city. Definitely worthy of a visit, I’ll probably come by again soon for Christmas gifts. Vertigo records has an excellent selection of great quality new and used vinyl at a very fair price. Every time I visit I'm always impressed with the interesting selection of new arrivals. Great selection of Jazz, Rock, Indie/Alternative, Punk and Metal. Highly recommend!
