amazing customer service! had an issue with a record purchased several months back. (2 LP set, with 2 copies of 1st record. manufacture defect, not fault of the store) was only just opened several months later. no receipt. emailed, got a response. in an hour. shipped it back (out of province) and received replacement within days. very responsive, a pleasure to deal with. can't recommend them enough.
What can I say about this place other than it is the most welcoming and magical record store in the Ottawa Valley? Darin is the nicest guy this side of the 49th parallel (who am I kidding - both sides) and will bend over backward to help you with special orders, provide advice and make you feel like family. The staff he chooses are knowledgeable and wonderful, the records are very fairly priced, and he’s always got something new out. The way Vertigo supports local bands, and venues and promoters is heartwarming. I can’t recommend this shop enough. If I’m having a bad day, I’ll visit Darin and leave with my faith in good people restored and a couple discs to look forward to spinning. I am a much happier person because Vertigo Records exists.
