The penultimate barbershop experience !! First and foremost the staff are focused performing their craft . There is such a real sense of pride emanating as they set about their work its palatable . There is a sense or feeling of connection amongst the staff and most of the clientele, like you dropped into the midst of a conversation any time you walk in the door. Actually The Empire Barbershop is my favourite place in Ottawa. I hate having to wait for my hair to grow before I can go back. It lifts my spirits about life and our world

Just a five star review for them not conforming to cult like behavior and worshipping a mask. Never been here but those 1 star reviews about masks are badges of honor. If I'm in town I may visit.

This review is on behalf of my bf who got his hair cut there. The location is now on Gloucester. 5/5 stars for sure a chill environment, great people and most importantly a great haircut. I had pretty long hair and … smith I think his name was gave me a great fade and left the top long, exactly what I wanted. Shaped up my beard and it looks great. Great recommendation with the hair wax too! I’ll definitely be going back again.
