This is a review not about the clinic administration , but about a very special, kind , smart and strong Dr. . Her name is Dr. Meena Sharma . Myself and my husband have been looking for new Dr. for more than a year , after our family physician of more than 20 years passed away . My husband have some special health care need and finding a Dr. that is knowledgeable on some of the symptoms have been very difficult . So we got lucky to be accepted to this clinic and as we were waiting for our first appointment , we were both very nervous , who is this Dr. , would she understand our long medical history . When she walked in , she looked at our records and right away she asked for numerous specific tests , vaccination that were way overdue and RIP our old dr. have ignored it in the past. These test have indicated some serious issue for my husband and some for myself. Right away she started my husband on some new medication ( from high blood pressure , cholesterol, and more) . With in a month we saw such a changes in all the symptoms . Amazing , how she cares for older people , feel their pain and do not give up and give the excuses that well these are the sign of old age, just get on with it . She is knowledgeable , and do challenge the system . She does care for her patient and she is hard on them and ask them to do what is expected of them to do to feel better, he dedication ( works even over weekend ) and care is what we need in our Doctors in Canada . Unfortunately , sometimes the Drs teats the patient as a number , vs having empathy and do what it takes to address their pain and give them quality of life .One thing for sure, we will follow her where she goes , for us it is about the Dr. vs waiting time on the phone or in clinic and other inconvenience . I hope one day to nominate her for a special Medical GOC award. , Thank you Dr. Sharma and may God and universe give back to you what you have given to us, your care and kindness for all those patient you help with .
