We had such an amazing experience with Rico today. My daughter has special needs, and haircuts can sometimes be overwhelming for her — but Rico was incredibly patient, calm, and understanding from start to finish.
He took his time, spoke gently, and made sure she felt safe and comfortable the entire appointment. You could tell he genuinely cared, not just about the haircut, but about her experience.
Because of him, what could have been a stressful situation turned into a positive one. That means more to us than he probably realizes.
The haircut looks fantastic, but what really stood out was his kindness and professionalism. We are truly grateful and will definitely be coming back.

As a Black masculine woman, finding an affordable and welcoming barbershop in Ottawa felt impossible. After my partner recommended RTB Lounge, I decided to give it a try.
From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed and treated with respect. My barber was friendly, chill, and made the whole experience comfortable. I’m still new to the barbershop but everytime I come back I get to meet and get to know the amazing people there.Definitely recommend!!:)
My brother went to get a haircut to RTB and suffers from mental health disorders and is homeless. I received a call today from Josh (RTB) that my brother received services and could not pay. Based solely on the phone call I had with him, he was respectful, patient, treated my brother with dignity and willing to call me to pay for the service instead of escalating and that really meant a lot to me.
We’re all humans and more than likely that human has someone out there that loves and cares for them.
