Lisa, the store owner, is an absolute gem! She’s an amazing teacher and so incredibly helpful and patient. Plus, her knowledge of the products she sells is just mind-blowing! Lisa is always honest about the products, because she genuinely cares about her customers and wants them to be happy. That makes you want to come back time and again.

A wonderful, welcoming store. Perfect for DIY paint and much more!
I came in last Thursday for some Fusion Mineral paint, but was in need of some advice as well. The woman who was working (not sure if the owner or an employee) was super friendly and knowledgeable. She confirmed that mineral paint was the right fit for my project and advised me on choosing the best colour combination. She provided great advice on brushes, prep and top coating too.
In addition to several popular paint brands, there are other fun things for sale like reclaimed picture frames. Such a pleasure to bring my business there.

Very happy to see that this local business is still around and survived the COVID pandemic. That's a testament to the knowledgeable and experienced staff working there.
A recent project of mine to repurpose wooden picture frames required some special paint. I knew that Recreated Designs stocked Annie Sloan chalk paint, milk paint, and Fusion brands and staff helped me pick out the best one to suit my needs.
They also had some interesting commissions on the work bench, giving some old solid furniture a new life. Very cool stuff.
Next time I visit I will try to remember to take some photos.
