We worked with Pure Elements of Design for a variety of aspects of our current home. We designed a custom home plan for our country lot and had Armand provide design services for the following: all exterior colors and stone choices, all cabinets (kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, walk-in pantry, butlers pantry), backsplash decisions, all flooring selections (hardwood and tile), and all paint colors for all rooms.We later finished the basement in a second project and had him assist with: all bar and bathroom cabinets, floor selections, and paint colors. Not only did he help us with all the selections, but he also provided all product and installation services. The cabinet installer he used for us is incredible and can't be beat - and the tile installer does amazing work too. We did our own floor installation and all paint but he still supported us in any questions we had related to those parts.All in all, we couldn't be happier with our house and we get very nice comments from anyone that enters our home for their first time; and even some people that come back time and time again comment on how they love our house.We are currently designing a custom cottage about 2.5 hours outside of town and Armand has been supporting us with that as well. He will be also be providing design services for all cabinetry, flooring selections, color selections (including our custom timber stain colors), etc.We're lucky to have found Pure Elements of Design and will use Armand for years to come on any other projects we take on.Service: Refurbishment

We have contracted with Pure Elements of Design for renos in two houses. The first instance was for a bathroom reno in our townhouse. The designers, Carmen and Armand were more than helpful in assessing the space, changes requested and making recommendations. They asked many questions about our wishes and how they could be accommodated or wisely revised to ensure success. The work was done very quickly by their contractor. We had our bathroom back within less than one week!We have since moved into a condo apartment which desperately needed updating in the kitchen, two full bathrooms along with closet space. We again turned to Pure Elements of Design. The designers came in during the pandemic fully cognizant of all safety precautions. They spent time with us to assess our wishes for the reno. Again, they made recommendations, adjusted our expectations where needed to ensure the best outcome possible. They took time to draft up drawings, bring in samples of finishes for us to choose from which was very much appreciated during the pandemic. The exception was for bathroom fixtures, where they accompanied us to the supplier showroom. Full pandemic protocols were in place.Their contractor was very efficient to reno two full bathrooms, kitchen counter and backsplash, update closet space and completely replace all doors along with removing glass partitions to a sunroom which opened up the living space. To top things off, Carmen and Armand made recommendations on paint choices which we loved.Carmen and Armand didn’t disappear after their initial planning work was completed, but they made appointments to come and assess the work in progress. This gave us a comfort level that should there be a “glitch”, they were fully accessible. I cannot express how much their experienced guidance and expertise were invaluable to the success of this massive project which took approx. four weeks in total. I highly recommend Pure Elements of Design and would definitely use them again.Service: Refurbishment
