I took my 2012 Q5 Audi in to diagnose recurring low oil pressure and engine oil indicator lights around December 2025. It was suggested I try a NAPA Autopro location by family as I was struggling to find an answer to this issue. Without fail J&D were able to provide me with a detailed explanation of the issue; valve cloaking. FINALLY! An answer to an issue that no other mechanic was able to pinpoint. Even more importantly, I was given a detailed explanation of what it was, how to fix it (they were transparent about the fact that this was not their area of expertise) and potential costs from their experience. Always a good experience at J&D. I am confident in the quality of work that is done. I am confident that the work that is done is actually required and never excessive. I appreciate that Denis is quick to say when a job is not something he is equipped for but can recommend someone he trusts.
All the positive reviews are true. This is the only garage I have been able to trust in many years of living in Ottawa, far better than other garages in the area. Every five star review is well deserved. Take your vehicle here for service, simple as that.
