My referral to Dr. Brent Waddel was undoubtedly an incredible blessing. I had injured my back many years ago while flying in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Once my “invulnerability stage” surpassed and age started to settle-in, so did the excruciating chronic back pain. After numerous years of awakening to constant pain, taking far too many pain medications, getting at best 4-hours of continually painful sleep, receiving limited benefits from massages and being far too often miserable had finally taken its toll. Based on his own experience, my family Doctor strongly suggested that I see Dr. Waddel. Pursuant to a comprehensive investigation, an intense three (3) times per week visit treatment commenced, along with beneficial home exercises. Within 5-6 sessions, I started to feel the difference: greater mobility, decreased pain, improved demeanour and no pain medication. Within 10-12 sessions, I was painlessly back (no pun intended) to my exercise routine. I was now tipping the 6-8 hours of uninterrupted deep sleep. I was happy, cheerful .. and my wife was equally thrilled! I “graduated” this week to a once-per-week session!! I could not be more appreciative of the care received and look forward to continued improvement. My pain and subsequent poor posture was due to my reluctance to seek professional help.
