I am extremely pleased with the honest work done on my 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk at Hourglass Auto.I mistakenly took my car to a Chrysler dealership in Scarborough who declared that my engine had seized. Subsequently, I was provided with a quote from the dealership for a new engine at $24,099.50 plus tax or a used engine at $11,871.83 plus tax.Dissatisfied with the provided options, I sought estimates from Hourglass Auto Repairs who provided a much more reasonable estimate of only $4,500 for a used engine. Upon further inspection, their mechanics Gary & Joel discovered that the engine was not seized; instead, the issue was a faulty pulley bearing on the A/C compressor.Hourglass Auto Repairs efficiently resolved the problem by sourcing a used compressor, charging me only $883.52 for labour, parts, and taxes.Wow! Jake and his team put in a garden and a decorative retaining wall with lights in the front our house. From start to finish Jake was amazing to work with. Early on he helped us design what we wanted and with his advice we choose the materials and the sizing. He communicated well throughout. At installation time, Jake and his team are absolute profesionals and super nice as well. It went in on time and on budget, no surprises. Acme is the best , they recently redid our basement which was stuck in the 80’s but now it’s modern and amazing, we also got them to remove our old carpet and replace our upstairs flooring ! We get so many compliments on all the new work!!! we will definitely be getting them back to do our bathroom and kitchen next ! Always very professional always on time and they don’t push you into getting stuff that you don’t need or can’t afford they work with your budget. Very happy customer :)
