I just started here and I was looking for a gym with an intense workout and a community feel. I was not interested in a big box gym with impersonal classes. At CrossFit Fortis you get a personalized experience and the members are all friendly and encouraging. The trainers are lookig out for you at all times, making sure you do the exercises correctly for both safety and maximum effect. Don't worry if you are just starting out. evenrthing is very scalable. You will work your way up to the heavier weights! So far I am very happy with the gym, the prefessionalism of the trainers and the frienliness of the members.

I join this gym back in March as part of their diapers and dumbbells program and have since moved to their momstrong group. I was nervous at first because I’m a plus size woman who really wanted to take control of my fitness. I’ve tried many different fitness gyms and none have felt as great as this one. At fortis it doesn’t matter what your fitness level is there are scaling options for everyone. So if you are a mom looking to get back in shape check out their diapers and dumbbells 12 week program and once done the 12 weeks make sure to join the momstrong program. I first discovered this gym through their Dumbbells and Diapers program, and I’m so glad I joined! I didn’t know a single person beforehand and had never done CrossFit in my life, but from day one I felt welcomed and supported.
What truly kept me coming back was the level of care and attention from the coach, Stephanie, who is absolutely incredible. She’s always open to questions, gives helpful and constructive feedback on every movement, and somehow manages to coach with a smile every single time (even with active and yelling babies in the background haha).
