The hairdressers have always been kind, and usually do a good cut. I moved away from the area last year, but booked an appointment here because I've had good haircuts in the past and this was going to be a huge change for me (very long hair to short).
I was not too pleased with my haircut but am chalking it up to miscommunication, however I had a picture of exactly what I wanted. I left with a hairstyle I did not want, and found it terribly uneven when I got home. I agree that the end result did look nice when styled, however I made it clear that this was to be a no effort hairstyle.
Despite this, I would still consider returning based on past experiences.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Huge thank you to Avalon Family Hair Salon on Tenth Line! I called last minute after school for a walk-in haircut for my two boys (picture day is tomorrow!), and without any hesitation, they took us in right away. We were in and out quickly, and the service was fantastic. Super friendly staff and great with kids — definitely recommend! 💇♂️🙌

Had Lorrie take care of my friend and I yesterday! she did an amazing job washing, cutting and blow drying the hair. The price wasn’t too bad at the end, around 65$ for everything included! ☺️. Will be coming back and I suggest choosing Lorrie for your next visit 🫶🏼

I had a great experience at Avalon! The staff was very patient and friendly, and I loved how my haircut turned out. The price was also reasonable. Highly recommend!

Showed up in the evening was seated right away, Laurey was very kind and welcoming in making me feel right at home. She did a great job of keeping conversation while also doing amazing work. To top it off there was a mishap with my banking and both the owner and Laurey were very understanding about it. Definitely gained a customer for life!

Not satisfied at all, the lady who cut my son’s hair didn’t cut it as we want and when she done she didn’t dry the hair and didn’t even clean the hair from his face . I never going back there again
