I adopted a kitten from this location in August. I was not advised that one of his littermates had had worms. While my kitten was also treated for them, they obviously didn’t do a very good job because he was vomiting all the time. I brought him to the vet and a stool sample revealed that he was absolutely infested with ringworm. It’s been very stressful, expensive, and unpleasant, and obviously my kitten isn’t having a great time.

We were told about a cat that was being taken to this location, and we were promised that once she was ready, she would be ours to take home. After waiting 3 weeks, she was officially ready, and we were so excited to be taking her home. Due to “no communication between staff members”- she was given away to another family after planning, and waiting for so many weeks.
I don’t want this review to go against the poor little souls that are deserving of a loving home, please don’t let the staff’s incapabilities deter you from giving one of these animals the loving home they deserve.
If you do find an animal to adopt, learn from our experience and call every single day to make sure the animal you were promised for adoption wasn’t given away to someone else.
My family and I are now left heartbroken, and without the cat that we were promised.
So whoever got “Blossom” I hope you give her a loving home, because she was my families cat to take home.

This location is terrible. I had arranged to adopt a cat and was told I had been approved to adopt her. Waited 3 weeks while she was spayed and had surgery on her leg . Was told they would call us when she was ready to pick her up. Got a call Friday morning that she was ready to be picked up then I called to ask what we needed to bring with us and the woman that answered told us she was already given away to someone else and was gone. I asked how could this happen when we were promised her. We had bought everything we needed to bring her home. Her response was there are a lot of people working here must have been a miscommunication. When an animal has already been adopted for several weeks how can that happen? Terrible handling of this situation. Cannot believe how incompetent they are. Now I have a heartbroken family. No thanks to this organization

They microchip every animal they can get their hands on. Including kittens and puppies. Microchips are not a necessity, they don't really help. The only real function they provide is if you lose your animal and someone finds them and decides to have them scanned for one. But if the person who finds your animal decides to keep your lost animal, you are SOL because microchips are useless. Otherwise, it performs the same function as a collar. A collar with GPS would be better for an animal if you are worried about losing yours in the first place. A microchip is basically just a barcode for animals. You scan, get info. If you aren't comfortable microchipping your newborn human baby, then I don't see why you should be comfortable microchipping your new furbaby. I've never lost an animal in my life. They're assuming everyone is so irresponsible with animals that every animal needs a microchip.
