Went back to the Beehive today after 25 years (was getting cuts in another city in between) and am so glad I did. Sabrina gave me exactly the colour I was looking for on the first try and spent time consulting with me beforehand. Steph followed up with the best cut I've had in 4 years, and unlike many stylists I've had, took the time to blow dry and style my hair properly. I loved everything about his place - it just feels like home when you walk in. Thank you so much Sabrina and Steph - I can't wait to come back in September!
I cannot say enough of wonderful things about my experience at the Beehive Hair Studio. From the moment I came in and met Tracy, Sabrina and Stephan (and the lovely pup Dexter) I felt that this was the place I should take my big leap and go from brunette to a full blonde. I had a lot of questions about the process and was a bit anxious about bleaching, but I was met with such kindness and positive spirit and all my questions and concerns were thoroughly and thoughtfully considered and answered. Absolutely amazing results and service!After having one salon cancel on me and a terrible consultation somewhere else, I called The Bee Hive Aug 19th, explained what I was looking for, and they booked me in the next morning. The process took about 6 hours, and I didn't even notice. I have mixed-race/curly hair and it has been a very long time since I have been to a salon. I use box dye and cut my own hair. Over the last 2 years I also tried out home bleaching for more colorful styles which left a lot of damage.
