“Great 1st experience at JeRah Beauty Salon. JeRah (the stylist) is such a pleasant and professional lady. I arrived a little early and she was able to start on my hair right away. She gave me great hair advice on different protective styles to consider in the future. I wanted a simple wash and blow out and was pleased with the full service. I was also able to get a much needed trim (additional cost). I spent more than expected but I definitely believe her services are worth it. “I contacted NRG at the last minute, just two days before my scheduled visit on November 21, 2025, hoping to secure an appointment with any available hairstylist. I was eager because another salon had mishandled my booking and refused to extend service beyond closing hours. This appointment was especially important to me, as I had a work gala the following day and wanted my hair styled appropriately.

I was fortunate to be booked with Rana, and I am truly grateful that she was my hairstylist. My hair is very thick, coarse, frizzy, and difficult to manage—characteristics that often overwhelm other stylists. I fully recognize the effort and time required to process and style it. Despite this, Rana was exceptionally patient and detail-oriented, ensuring my hair looked beautiful for the gala. She went above and beyond in perfecting my balayage, carefully achieving an even tone and consistent finish.

By the time styling began, the mall had already closed, and it was well past 10:00 PM. Rana and Deija worked together with great dedication, blow-drying and curling my hair to ensure I left the salon beyond satisfied. Both stylists remained until 11:00 p.m. without complaint or frustration, which speaks volumes about their professionalism and commitment.

My five-star review is directed solely to Rana and Deija, whose outstanding service deserves recognition. This review is not for NRG because, midway through my appointment, a gentleman, who appeared to hold an authoritative role (perhaps upper management?), arrived at the reception desk and began loudly berating an employee in an unpleasant tone. His tone echoed in the hallway of the mall as well. The employee being scolded appeared to be in a supervisory or key-holder position. I was the only client in the salon at the time and was able to witness a good portion of the exchange. The individual in a position of authority spoke disparagingly about a stylist at NRG while scolding the possible supervisor/ key-holder employee at the reception desk.

It was disheartening to witness such unprofessional behaviour, particularly in front of clients. Regardless of the circumstances, the matter should have been addressed more appropriately in a private setting. I sincerely hope that the gentleman will reflect with greater self-awareness and cultivate a more respectful manner of speaking in public settings. I also hope these are not the values that NRG chooses to uphold.

She came high recommended but after a terrible experience at an Oakville salon, I was doubtful that she would be able to fix what they had done. I was very very wrong.
