About Seoul Zimzilbang
Seoul Zimzilbang is a no-frills Korean spa that offers a unique and affordable experience for relaxation. It features a simple website that may leave visitors confused, so it's helpful to know what to expect before arriving. The entry fee is $30 for adults and $20 for children aged 3-12, and guests are encouraged to bring their own water bottles, flip flops, shampoo, conditioner, and entertainment items like books or magazines. Upon arrival, guests must lock their shoes in a designated area and choose an odd-numbered shoe locker for convenience. The changing rooms are split by gender, providing a large space with lockers, washrooms, and a wet area that includes showers, a steam room, and plunge pools. A unique aspect of the wet area is that guests must be entirely naked, although spa uniforms are provided for the co-ed communal space. The spa features a variety of saunas, including hot, cold, and steam rooms, along with a snack bar and a relaxed hangout area where visitors can unwind. The atmosphere is clean and spacious, and many find it calm and quiet, making it a perfect place to decompress after a hard day. The staff is generally accommodating, although some guests have noted that the receptionist could be friendlier. Despite some reports of uncomfortable behavior in the shower area and a lack of male employees monitoring the men's section, the overall experience at Seoul Zimzilbang remains enjoyable. Guests appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and many express a desire to return. The spa offers a range of amenities, including a hot pool, a cold pool with a waterfall, and numerous sauna options. The food, particularly the kimbap, receives praise, though some feel the overall dining experience is just average. Many visitors plan to extend their visits in the future, enjoying the soothing atmosphere and the available food.
Clean, affordable, simple and traditional kspa. Locker room is sufficient, wet area is clean and steam room and hot tub are toasty. Cafeteria and common area is well kept - food is average - a variety of sauna choices makes for a relaxing couple of hours. Would definitely recommend for a disconnect and reset
I had such a great experience! DILA gave me a Korean scrub and massage, and it was honestly one of the most refreshing treatments I’ve ever had. The scrub left my skin feeling incredibly smooth and renewed, and the massage was both relaxing and rejuvenating.
She was very professional, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. You can tell she really knows what she’s doing and takes pride in her work. I left feeling completely refreshed, lighter, and glowing.
Highly recommend her if you’re looking for a deep cleanse and a truly relaxing experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Lowkey no frills come and go type of place. Don’t expect anything fancy and you’ll enjoy your time there.
Who doesn’t like a steam and sauna with some instant ramen and a beer? All I need after a long day.
