My husband and I were on vacation on Lake Temagami when one of our German Shepherds took ill. Bailey was extremely sick the 2nd day and could hardly walk as she was so weak, so we drove to North Bay and Bay City Animal Hospital was able to see her at 2:40. Not being there 10 minutes it was discovered that Bailey had an open Pyometra and was already septec. Dr. Christina Karkanis decided to perform emergency surgery on Bailey. The surgery took 2 hours and Bailey stayed the night in their care. Bay City Animal Hospital kept me in the loop every step of the way until I picked Bailey up the next day. My Yukon boy got a hold of a piece of corn on the cob and it got lodged, so we had to have it surgically removed. I
, Everybody there was phenomenal. There was no wait time, took him in right away! They took good care of him!!
I was supplied with everything I would need!! Everything went great and they ,kept me informed!!
The girls loved them and had fun with him decorating his cone with stars!
That made me relax and not so nervous
