About Wellness Institute of Niagara
The Wellness Institute of Niagara offers a family-friendly experience with a water park that kids love, providing fun and entertainment in a less crowded setting. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, including front desk and housekeeping teams, who make the stay more comfortable. The facility features clean and comfortable rooms, though some reviews mention it being a bit dated. Visitors have enjoyed extending their stay due to the enjoyable atmosphere and warm service. However, there are some concerns about noise levels, especially from the busy hallways and the large greenhouse-style wave pool area, which can be quite loud. Maintenance issues such as ants in the room, a non-functioning bathroom fan, and a sticking bathroom door have been reported, with some delays in repairs. Overall, the venue serves its purpose well, especially for families seeking a fun getaway, but some guests suggest looking elsewhere for a quieter or more updated experience.
We had such a wonderful time here as a family! Our kids absolutely loved the place, and we all enjoyed every moment. We originally planned to stay for one night, but ended up extending it for another night because we loved it so much.
A huge thank you to Jasmin at the front desk-she was incredibly kind, helpful, and went above and beyond to assist us. Her warm attitude made a big difference in our stay.
We will definitely be coming back again!
Second time at this hotel. My kids loved it because the water park is great, not too busy so we have fun. The room- found ants in one bed, the fan in bathroom didnt work so the room smelled musty, and the bathroom door stuck and was so loud when opening/closing, waking others up at night. The hallways are always filled with screaming people (which isnt the fault of the hotel) but makes for a poor experience when u dont sleep because of noise at midnight and later.
We called for a fix to the door and fan. No one came all day and had to call a second time.
Its not a bad spot, met its purpose for us, but will look elsewhere for our next visit.
Hotel is a bit dated but the staff...from the front desk to housekeeping were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
We were travelling with a handicap person in our group and our room entrance was on the other side of the buidling. There was only one designated spot at each entrance, and it was taken. Good to know if you have a similar situation.
Also, the wavepool is in a huge greenhouse type buidling and when it's full of kids, the sound is pretty deafening. Not sure why they also played music on top of all that noise...you could only hear the base.
Breakfast buffet was good but we saw a Manager reach through the back to grab a breakfast...read full review
