When my father passed away years ago my mom felt most comfortable going here because it was a business and name that has been well established and when we visited the staff were kind and supportive while being immensely professional.
One thing that stood out in particular was that they offered a grief management support ground for family and friends and if I remember correctly, you also didn’t have to be a client of the funeral home to be eligible to go. I recently attended a service for my grandmother at this T & P location. The staff were wonderful. They were so respectful and helpful and kind. They have such a grace and calmness- I really admire the people who do this kind of work. They are able to hold space for people's emotions and grief. The slideshow they put together was also great!

I recently lost my husband and had the service at Turner and Porter and the staff were excellent. All the directors were professional and compassionate and so kind. Rev. Judith Alltree who did the service was unbelievable. We felt like she was a family friend. So many people came up to us after to say they had never been to a nicer service. I would highly recommend Turner and Porter and Rev Judith Alltree.
