I had been following Shirley’s work for almost two years, never imagining that one day I would become one of her brides. When my nikkah was finally confirmed, I immediately knew who I wanted to trust with my bridal look.
As a Bangladeshi bride, I had always envisioned myself looking traditional and authentically Bangladeshi on my wedding day. I wanted every detail of my makeup to reflect that vision, but I was also nervous about finding someone who could truly understand and bring it to life. I kept thinking, “If not Shirley, then who?”
I cannot recommend Shirley Wu highly enough! She made me look and feel like the bride I had always dreamed of becoming. From the beginning, she took the time to have a thorough consultation with me, listened carefully to everything I envisioned, and created the exact look I wanted.
What truly set her apart was how far she went above and beyond on the wedding day. I was originally booked for an early appointment before my evening event, and my husband and I became worried that my makeup might wear off, especially because we had an outdoor photoshoot scheduled in between. Shirley kindly came back to touch up my makeup about an hour before the event, which completely put our minds at ease.
She is the ultimate professional. She is incredibly knowledgeable, offered wonderful suggestions throughout the process, and made me feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful the entire time. On top of that, all the staff were lovely, warm, and welcoming.
