Dr. Simmons is so knowledgeable and caring. Over the years she's treated my 12yo German Shepherd, and my shy 17yo brown tabby. I couldn't recommend Heartland Pet Hospital more! Great staff.

I have been a client for 30+ yrs and taken all my cats to see Dr Simmons! Her care and compassion for animals is heartwarming. She treats your fur babies as hers and will help you work within your lifestyle to do what is best for your babies. I felt confident and at ease with her from the first day we met. She truly does listen to your concerns and makes you feel at ease. The staff are helpful and compassionate. I wouldn’t take my babies anywhere else!

Two very old doctors at this location and I have had the misfortune to see both of them. They are just good listeners, they should be therapists.... In 3 months time I spent almost 900 dollars for absolutely nothing at their clinic. They did not help my dog at all. Did tons of tests and I was told nothing is wrong with my dog. And now my dog has no energy and her body is getting many warts looking bumps. Both doctors didn't know what it is. The older doctor only wants to sell products and won't really treat the issue. I won't go back again.

We were looking for a new vet for our dogs after moving to the area. The veterinarian, an older lady, was nice overall. However, as mentioned by others, the receptionist “Debbie” was extremely unprofessional, plain lazy and rude. She wouldn’t return calls as promised and had a noticeably poor attitude when responding to questions. I suspect she might be a long-time associate or family member of the vet, but she’s definitely hurting the business. We ended up finding another vet place, even though it's a bit further away.

Always a pleasant experience, my American Bulldog Lana has always received the best care from the staff at Heartland Pet Hospital. From allergic reactions from bee stings to ACLO tendon diagnosis and referrals they have your fur baby covered.
