I have seen Lilian Daymond twice and each time have been completely impressed by her care, professional skills and treatment. She is an expert at both diagnosis and treatment. Fully recommend her care.

Last September, almost exactly a year ago to today, I tore one of the three hamstring tendons from the bone playing tennis. It took forever (2 months) for it to be properly diagnosed as indeed a complete separation, not just a sprain or tear, which effectively meant surgery was ill-advised and risky - a complete separation needs to repaired within two weeks. In January I began seeing physiotherapist Amy Apps to explore and begin the process of rebuilding strength in my 2 out of three hamstring leg, which was at about 65% strength compared to my other. My surgeon suggested I try to regain the strength, but no one really knew how or if the effort would pay off. The only reason I am writing this recommendation is because, thanks to the care, advice, encouragement and exercises Amy gave me, I'm back to playing singles tennis 3 times a week, with my legs almost even in their strength, almost even because now my injured leg is slightly stronger than my 'good' one. In an era of trumped up experts and everyone wanting to spout questionable advice, Amy's low-key, confidence inspiring and expert approach gave no doubt as to whether I'd be back to 'normal', but when. Amy's approach is without peer, in my opinion, and I quietly thank her about three times a week as I walk off the courts!
