“I recently went to Precise by Icelyn for Botox and to have my lips dissolved and refilled. I want to start by saying the overall experience walking in was really great. The clinic is beautiful, and both Icelyn and Annie were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. Icelyn took her time explaining things and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment.
However, I do need to share my full experience.
I was very clear from the beginning that my main concern was correcting forward projection and avoiding a “duck lip” look. Unfortunately, despite clearly communicating this, my final result is exactly what I didn’t want, my lips project forward and have that same appearance.
My lips were dissolved and refilled in the same session, and a noticeable lump was only identified and addressed partway through the treatment. Looking back, I question whether proceeding with both dissolving and refilling in one appointment was the right approach. A more conservative plan, fully dissolving first and reassessing before refilling, would have made more sense for my concerns.
Since then, I’ve gone back twice and have now had dissolving done three times in total, and the issue still hasn’t been properly resolved.
I also didn’t appreciate being told that the “shelf” above my lip when I smile was due to not moisturizing. Based on the outcome, this appears to be related to filler placement and technique rather than aftercare.
I had already paid to correct my lips, and ultimately, what I paid for is not what I received. Despite multiple follow ups, my concerns remain unresolved, and I am now seeking another provider to fix my lips.
The environment and customer service were genuinely great, but the treatment decisions and final result did not align with what I clearly asked for.“
