Five Star Nails

Salon is very dirty, had to leave mid-manicure for fear of infection. Full scary story: They told me they did brow waxing, when I arrived they brought me to a pedicure-chair instead of a bed, I was not laying down and the waxer did all the work from one side of me. Of course my eyebrows were not even, beyond that they were a terrible shape - too much off the top made me look like an angry emoji - the waxer dug her nails into my brows, put her fingers in my eyes, she plucked skin (not hair), and left a big hunk of wax in one brow. I tried to look past the poor brows and hope the nails would live up to their ratings, however, the nail salon part was gross - White towels covered in stains, fabric chairs coated in misc. particles, tables covered in clutter from past clients, walls covered in children's scribbles, back room (pedicure room) mainly consisted of a toy area for the workers young children. Only 2 staff on site with 2 preschool aged children, the younger child was upset and both workers were stopping their work to tend to her. They did not attempt to clean their hands between picking up a child who had been sitting on the ground and going back to doing nails.
