I brought Noah (9) in today for the first time! His regular barber is in the city and I really wanted to find him someone local — they did an INCREDIBLE job & most importantly, Noah said “she was really nice to me mom, I liked coming here”
Looks like we just found the spot we’ve been looking for! Yay!

Over Charging: Now, before I tear into this place i’m going to give it some flowers (second star - really it should be a half because it’s the bare minimum - but google won’t let me) because I don’t believe this is a management problem rather the actual barbers. What I will say it is nice, clean, and friendly - but that’s about it, that’s where the good ends.
The Bad:
So there I was, ready for a haircut that I hoped would make me channel my inner Brad Pitt. With a simple request for a skin fade, I walked in feeling like a million bucks. Little did I know, I was about to embark on a $40 expedition that would leave me questioning if I should take up a new career as a hair model—too bad no one’s looking to hire “Buzz Cut Guy.”
I’m a buzz cut kind of dude. Low maintenance, quick, and easy—perfect for someone who prefers to spend time making shit happen rather than hanging out in a barber chair. I figured it would be a speedy session, and barely 25 minutes later, I was done.
As I flipped over my wallet to fish out my card, I couldn’t help but chuckle at the guy who came in before me. He strolled out looking like a refined gentleman, complete with a stylish beard and expertly shaped brows, all for a grand total of $23! Meanwhile, I'd just paid nearly $40 for a basic skin fade - maybe I accidentally requested a basic trim with a side of overpriced disappointment?
Adding insult to injury, I couldn’t shake the feeling that when I mentioned I had just moved from the city, they must’ve thought, “Ah, a city sucker! Charge him extra!” If only I’d known that walking in with a university degree and explaining how you’ve moved down to help run a family business is apparently a VIP pass to the most exclusive haircut price list.
At the end of the day, I’m all for supporting local businesses—truly, I am—but can we get some consistency here? I’m all for stylish grooming, but when leaving a barbershop feels more like a trip to the comedy club than a hair salon, it’s time for a little friendly advice. Anyways - overall, if you’re a tourist visiting or an out of towner in need of a fresh groom STAY AWAY - because they’re gonna rinse you.
In fact I actually spent the 20 minute drive home thinking about what I was gonna say about this place - and I sit here writing this to you - still itchy, haven’t even showered yet - I just had to come and write out my experiences ASAP because I truly felt like I fell for some crypto scam.
Will not be returning and will be warning people - Hoping that management takes action

Not impressed. Cut hair the way they wanted instead of the way I asked. One side longer than other.....back also uneven....enough that other people told me. Maybe a little less talking n start paying attention to what you're doing and what customer is asking for.

Moved to Kingsville during Covid-19 and became a client at Kings Cuts in 2021. Best place for quality hair care and service. The staff is very friendly and setting up appointments is quick.
