    Came in a while back and was told the play in my steering wheel was minor and not to worry. Another mechanic later said it was severe and a major safety issue.

    I am updating this to say yet again you did not service my AC correctly. I am at another garage and they have told me this. Avoid this garage at all costs!!! You replaced the compressor and it didn’t work and then added fluid the next year and every time I showed the warranty you said something else had happened and charged more. I have found you extremely dishonest and unpleasant to deal with and recommend no women drivers use your garage.

    This auto shop is hands-down the worst I have ever dealt with in all of my life. My first experience with them involved a safety inspection that had been done which included a list of misdiagnosed issues and overlooked deficiencies. Foolishly, I was going to give them a second chance and booked another appointment with them 4 months later. I called on a Tuesday and they told me that they were too busy to get my vehicle in that same week and that I should drop it off Sunday night, I understood so I did what they asked. The middle of that following week I received an email saying that my appointment was at 8 AM on Thursday. So Thursday morning (appointment day) I get a phone call from the Owner of the business who had such broken English that you couldn’t even understand what he was saying. I decided to drop by to see what was going on and they went on to tell me that they didn’t have the time to work on my vehicle at all and that I should take it elsewhere. In a nutshell, they wasted almost 2 weeks of my time on the attempted second visit while the car sat idle in their parking lot, not to mention what I had to go through to repair the car first time after the shady safety inspection. If I had the option of giving them a zero star I would. I highly recommend to stay away from this place. Brutal experience!

    Had an 8am appointment for a safety. I went out for breakfast to kill time but when I got back at 10am, my vehicle hadn't moved. I understand they were busy but why give me a specific time if they don't honor it. I drove 45 min and could have left much later if I'd known.

    Absolutely top-tier service!
    Speedy Auto Service in Kingston East went above and beyond fixing my car. The team really knows their stuff — super professional, honest, and efficient. They explained everything clearly, didn’t try to upsell unnecessary repairs, and had my car running perfectly again in no time. You can tell they actually care about doing the job right. Definitely my go-to spot from now on. Highly recommend them to anyone who wants solid, trustworthy auto work done right the first time.

    Ripped me off. Brought my car in to have the A/C diagnosed. They told me it would only be $150 to diagnose, I did not agree to them doing any work on it without speaking to me first. They called me later that day to say they went ahead and fixed it by just refilling the freon that was empty and it would be $600. I picked it up and the A/C was blowing cold so I was like whatever, it works. 1-2 weeks later it stops working. They told me to bring it back in. Then they give me this whole story about how they put dye in the lines and can see its leaking massively from multiple areas and would be at least $1600 to fix. I asked what the diagnostic charge was for if they never diagnosed it, just filled it up? They just talked in circles and claimed they didnt have to dye at the time and couldn't have known it was leaking blah blah blah. Total BS. The first thing they would do is check the pressure of the hoses before filling with freon and that would show immediately that it was leaking and not going to hold the freon. They filled it anyway so they could charge me more money since I already told them I would not be spending big bucks to fix this car.

    I’m extremely impressed by the service I received from Speedy Auto Service. I went in needing an oil change and a slow leak in at least one tire. The technicians discovered that all of my tires, purchased and installed by Midas Kingston, were leaking. This was a huge safety concern to me and I wondered how Midas could do such poor instalment of my fairly expensive new tires and let me drive off thinking I’m safe. Speedy also checked my brakes and found them sound at no extra charge, fixed my electrical issues, found my cabin air filter needed changing and that my rear wiper needed replacing. These were all safety issues that I wasn’t aware of. These services were done quickly while I waited and the charge for these services was very reasonable, much less than I expected. The staff were all super friendly and knowledgeable. When I need any kind a service for my car I will always choose Speedy Auto Service and in hindsight wish I’d purchased my tires from them. Highly recommend taking your vehicle to Speedy!

    I discovered a screw in my tire while on a road trip. They patched the tire promptly for a very fair price. Very friendly.
