The Kingston Family Health Team Office provides outstanding medical care from their knowledgeable and compassionate nurses, nurse practitioners, and doctors. Patients consistently receive reassuring and thorough attention, whether for routine checkups or more serious concerns. However, the experience is often overshadowed by the rude and unhelpful reception staff, who make simple requests far more stressful and challenging than necessary. Improving the professionalism of the reception team would greatly enhance the overall experience and better reflect the quality of care delivered by the medical staff.
Kingston Family Health Team provides an important service to the community by offering access to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a coordinated setting. The staff are generally professional, knowledgeable, and committed to patient care. While wait times and appointment availability can sometimes be challenging due to the demands placed on the healthcare system, the team works hard to support a large number of patients. Having access to comprehensive primary care services is invaluable, and the clinic plays an important role in the health and well-being of the Kingston community.
The medical team is great and usually so is the reception.
I was hung up on twice before she reluctantly answered with annoyance but because it's a doctor's office, I called back each time and it's her JOB to answer the phone and questions. After she was rude, condescending and other things I can't say she hung up on me after huffing when I wasn't finished.
This is my first review ever because that was completely unacceptable, uncalled for, unnecessary and inappropriate for a work place but more so from a receptionist since part of her job is to WELCOME and help people calling or at the office not treat them like personal enemies.
Love Dr. Gemmill. The new office is nice and the receptionists so far have been friendly. Shout out to Beth, nurse practitioner who is super nice and very professional with an excellent bed side manner.
