The more you open your mind and body to their diverse teachings, the more you will learn how to heal yourself. Steph will guide you towards amplifying all that makes you human; emotions, feelings of stability and more. Emily will teach how to love yourself in whatever form you are presently in. Steve and Linda will get you more in touch with your physical body and nurture your mind-body neuron’s connections. Alexa will humble you by challenging your strength, discipline and balance. All around great experience, but it’s up to you how much you want to take with you from this studio. It’s all on the table.
I can't say enough about Emily's Sweat, Relax and Restore class! While the class is always "relaxing and restorative" and involves sweating (it is a hot yoga class), every week Emily offers a new meditation to set and affirm the practice and each yogi participating, she consistently creates new sequences, new poses and ever more innovative approaches. The class is suitable for most fitness levels, as there is always the invitation to 'just" lie on the mat and feel supported by the earth, but you are always encouraged to explore and go where your body feels. Moved to the area 4 months ago and with one class at De La Sol, I knew I found my place, my community, my yoga fix. Great vibe, teachers are fantastic, no mirror on the studio walls (it’s not about your outfit or competition!). I’m really pumped about a workshop coming up in March - lots of workshops! And I have loved both their hot classes as well as their non heated classes - recently did yoga nidra and felt butter leaving all relaxed. You have to go to feel the vibe. I was looking for my “home” for a while since moving and I know I AM there. ;)
