People will commit suicide before they decide to reach out and help. Terrible place.

This is my current review and rating, and until my business is concluded it may vary. Everyone has been very nice and very helpful so far.

Lisa Boyle is a danger to not only victims but the perpetrators themselves. She is doing a disservice to both parties. Anything to look good for court. Reminds me of school ... there was always that one teacher who didn't give homework and would pass everyone. Even those undeserving. These "therapists" will waste sessions believing an abuser rather than communicating with the victim and previous therapists, learning the truth, and teaching them how to change their beliefs and values so they can stop abusing....kinda crazy. I thought mental health “professionals” had a duty to report to police but apparently you can tell CMHA the person they’re enabling has plans to shoot you in the head and they’ll do nothing.

This must be the biggest fraud institution of all time. No one picks up, literally. During the COVID19 crisis they're no where to be found, all their offices are manned by machines without any brains. When you do finally get a callback, they're off at lunch during your most critical times. They take extended holidays, leaves, extra long lunch breaks. Referrals to outside organizations that also don't pick up, just when you're about to die of COVID or a mental health crisis. They're never they're for you, and never were. That's the reality. All the funding goes to the entitled, spoiled rich white collar workers that never have to interact with people at the bottom. That's YOU!

I worked in Mental Health for over 25 yrs. During my rough patches of Depression, PTSD, Anxiety I find the groups, counsellors and therapists super supportive. More funding is needed from the government for more programs. Thank you for the support at times when I needed help They always listened.

The worker I spoke with was very unsympathetic.I was going through a super rough time and had told her I wanted to hurt myself. Her words were " ok, well, if you don't feel like you're going to kill yourself, I will talk to you tomorrow at noon"I do not want to name names, but the workers and nurses need to be trained when it comes to sympathy

When I have been in crisis both Social Worker Michele and Director Peter have been there. They have done everything in their power to assist me in my Mental Health journey.
