I have had a lot of trouble in the past finding a bird groomer who was competent, experienced and compassionate. I am pleased to announce that the search is over!
Krista is amazing. Not only is she knowledgeable and experienced, she treated my Charlie as if he was her own.
Having a bird groomer who is calm and kind leads to birds with less fear and stress which is so important for our feathered friends.
10/10 We will be coming back to Krista again and again for such an amazing service.

Honestly, no amount of thanks is enough for how much Krista helped me and my bird. I truly wish I had gone to see her before visiting the vet.
I was nervous about returning to Big Al’s because of a previous experience, but here’s my story. My bird developed a swollen nostril that appeared blocked. A friend recommended Krista, but I hesitated and instead took my bird to a vet. The vet told me it was likely a tumor and that there was nothing they could do. I was devastated and began to accept that fate — but my wife didn’t. She went to Big Al’s to speak with Krista directly.
