I work within the Developmental sector supporting individuals that have developmental needs. With that being said, it is often difficult to find folks that are confident and patient enough to provide services to some of our individuals. There are obstacles that many of those in this sector face when going into the public setting for something that would seem so simple to most… such as a haircut. Many of our individuals will not sit still for any given amount of time, move their heads and or bodies during haircare, require wheelchairs and do not enjoy certain sensory stimulation such as loud noises and too much lighting! Just went to sleek beauty today. Had an amazing experience, she saved my hair !! Customer service was excellent, very kind, personable and they work very hard to help you achieve your dream results. I just had Brooke do extensions on my hair and OMG! She is amazing! I went twice - first to do the colour, and then the application. I have thyroid issues and my hair isn’t great.. she made it so wonderful after my first time seeing her. So soft and shiny, no breakage and it felt thicker and stronger. As for the extensions? I feel great and look awesome! She coloured them to match before I came in and cut my hair so they blended PERFECTLY! Brooke is so talented and the nicest, kindest person you will ever meet.
