About RONA+ Gloucester
RONA+ Gloucester offers a wide range of high-quality hardware products and construction materials at everyday low prices. Customers can find everything they need for their home improvement projects, from paint and patio furniture to tools, flooring, appliances, and outdoor equipment. Whether you're a DIY enthusiast or a professional, RONA+ is your go-to destination for all your building and home decor needs. This RONA location used to be a Lowe's. The store looked fine and my husband found what he was looking for. This location is good for home improvement stuff. They do have a garden centre, but the plants in their garden centre aren't in the best shape. The plant selection was small and they had some small succulents that were in really rough shape. There were some larger succulents in better shape and some cacti that seemed to be doing well. Selection was small in general and in general the plants were in poorer shape here than at other big box stores. Lots of free parking. They did it perfectly, took time to understand what I wanted, and were super friendly. Shop with you all the time. Very happy with everything.
I really like Rona because of the great selection of products, good offers and sales, and amazing staff that is always very helpful and friendly. The only reasons I am not giving 5 stars are:
- Website. It hasn't a very efficient search engine and it can be hard to find some specific products;
- Lack of a phone app;
- and, even though I understand the reasons why, it is a shame they will not keep selling Kobalt products, since I invested in a lot of them over the years.
Would love to give a shout out to the clerk working the paint departmant. I believe Gabe was his name. Great knowledge of product and what to use to do a professional job by a amateur painter. The walls turned out great because of his extensive knowledge of what paint, primer and rollers to use
Good value but variety and selection seem to decrease. It is difficult to find some accessories for rachets and drivers. You can buy electrical conduit but not the individual cables to run through then. One would think there is room for improvement while still maintaining good profit margins.
