Essex Animal Hospital offers cutting-edge integrative veterinary care to provide optimal care for pets. The facility has been recently renovated and expanded to include a wide range of animal physical rehabilitation services. This includes a 12x20 ft indoor, chemical-free, heated aqua therapy and fitness pool, as well as an underwater treadmill. In addition to conventional veterinary services, they provide holistic options for pets, such as acupuncture, chiropractic care, and Chinese herbal therapy.
The staff at Essex Animal Hospital are known for being knowledgeable, patient, and caring. They handle nervous pets with great care, using treats and allowing them to sniff around to create a positive experience. The veterinarians, including Dr. Jan, are recognized for their calm and kind demeanor, as well as their willingness to discuss concerns with pet owners.
Clients have praised the hospital for its exceptional care and compassion, particularly during difficult times, such as when assisting pets in pain. Reviews highlight the outstanding support and transparency in pricing, making this clinic a trusted choice for pet owners. While the facility is described as friendly, clean, and reasonably priced, there remains an ongoing issue with the handicap-accessible door that has not yet been resolved.
