I dropped by this charming and very clean hair salon as I was walking by and was able to get a consultation right away. I spoke with the owner Margaret about fixing a colour problem from another salon down the street. She took her time to carefully explain the process of how to remove and fix the brass out of my hair which was bleached too quickly and not toned properly, leaving me with an obvious obnoxious orange tone. The previous salon I went to also ruined my texture with their harsh bleach and completely missed the mark on giving me a caramel sun-kissed summer look. I've been going to this salon for the past two years at my wife and daughter's recommendation. They always look and feel their best. Margaret and Reema are wonderful stylists. The salon is always clean and impeccable and they treat me and the clients I have become familiar with, with respect and class. I have always been impressed with their attentiveness and great style! My FAVE salon in East York! Reema is awesome. I have coarse dark hair and have always wanted to get a trendy root melt with caramel balayage. I showed her some pictures and she NAILED IT! This photo is from eight weeks ago, washed every other day and the colour is still looking fresh and seamless. I get so many compliments. My hair is very manageable and healthy despite bleaching it thanks to the products and technique used. I follow a home care routine for my hair type and service and avoid drug store products. I've never been able to find someone who understands my hair type and how to lighten my very dark hair to a creamy dark blonde ombre WITHOUT it looking orange....read full review
