Hi . We got our house built in New Amherst homes about 2 years back and been living here since then . Our experience with the New Amherst team has been exceptional. From the first day we met them for booking till we got the possession of the house in July 2023 we always felt well taken care of . Elyssa and Ashley both were always there to guide us and answer all our queries . When it was time to choose the floorings , washrooms and finishings , we were really impressed with Ashley’s knowledge and expertise and she went over and above in helping us choose the best and up to date finishes for our house and at the same time remaining within our budget . I recently moved here from Bowmanville, where there is also a lot of new development and the difference is night and day. The difference is that here every couple blocks the houses are different and even on the same street there is a lot of variety. This is compared to block upon block of houses all with the same basic ugly design. Also lots of parks that are not just an empty space with grass. Also lots of variety in terms of size from condos to big houses. This neighbourhood was created with a plan and it shows. Someone cared. Many of the houses look like older houses even though they are new. All new developments should be done this way. I went out of my way... read full review
