I finished chemotherapy a few months ago and I'm still recovering. I came down with a bad illness this week and none of my medical providers would genuinely listen to me and provide documentation for work.
The nurse and the doctor who attended to me today so were so incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. Thank you for taking care of me today.
I have been using this walk in clinic for 3 years. Today I went in without appointment, I have a referral from a naturopath for blood work and need a practitioner to give me proper paperwork so I can go get this completed. I was told I NEED an appointment, even though there was someone who hadn’t shown for an appointment. This is no longer a walk in clinic, it is a book appointment or you don’t get in.
I went for an appt and my husband went for an appt. My appt went well and I got to talk to a doctor. My husband's not so much. He wasn't even allowed to talk to a doctor, I paid for both of us to be looked at, I expect to have BOTH of us to be looked at by a doctor! I would say it depends on the nurse you get for your appt to go as expected. Definitely try to book with Brittany because she will let you actually talk to a doctor! The price isn't much, but it's still not fully covered by OHIP. As of right now it is $16.95 including taxes to be seen.
