This is a shout out post to Jorgensen Roofing who recently replaced our roof and not only did a complete and professional replacement but went above and beyond my expectations today. Thank you to Joanne Hutchinson Re/max Hallmark Realty Ottawa as Jorgensen's Roofing was one of several companies that were suggested for consideration. I would not hesitate to recommend this business to any of you in the Ottawa and surrounding area if you are in need of a new roof. The crew arrived early this morning and the foreman was very polite and friendly, thoroughly explaining the steps they were taking to both prepare the exterior for the job (tarps and a quick inspection around the perimeter) but the work that would ensue on the roof itself (some new flashing, nothing any issues with the roof itself with shingles removed, checking gutters, etc.). The workers were also friendly and very respectful of our property as they worked. It was a very busy exercise, all the work being steadily done and with many workers. Six hours later-- it was all done, they thoroughly cleaned up after themselves and to be honest, they left my front and back porches cleaner than they had started. The post job tidy up extended to our stone patios. It was all done so efficiently and succinctly, it could not have been done any better. They were considerate of our dogs and not only were collaborative about pausing work so I could bring them out the front door to go for a walk since the yard was in full action, they made sure to fasten the side gates before leaving and assured us this step was as taken so we could bring the dogs back out. They even discovered a new duck nest in our yard and took the time to cover mama duck and her eggs 🥺🦆 Bless them! Thank you so much Jorgensen's Roofing!
