I visited this salon for the first time yesterday and I must say, not knowing what to expect, I was impressed. From the hot cloth you get when arrive, to the comfortable hair wash with the massage chair - I haven't seen this type of service in this area, since I went to L.A. last year. Catarina did an amazing job with my hair. I was very nervous about having my hair dyed in a salon, but it was all good. I have very thin hair and at the end, my hair looked full and stylish. I was very pleased with the cut and style. I would recommend.

I wanted to add a bit of red to make it pop and Hannah took the time to explain the base of the hair I have at this time, it wouldnt have worked the way I had envisioned. I appreciate the honesty. She took the time and helped me walk through every step and we went with a completey different route. She absolutely KILLED IT! She did an amazing job. The cut, color, everything! Amazing customer service. Beautiful salon. It was so neat and tidy. They have massaging chairs when your getting a shampoo. Amazing experience and HIGHLY recommended. Hi guys. I visited the place for a haircut today as it was my birthday. Megan was so sweet and professional. I loved the massage chair and the head massage she gave me while washing my hairs. As a brow artist I’m a perfectionist myself and Sarah understands this and has never failed to impress me. AM Hair and Beauty is beautiful, clean and all the girls are so nice! I found AM Beauty & Hair in Cambridge after a very well-known, highly regarded salon in Kitchener completely messed up my hair. After multiple visits back and no real effort to properly fix the issue, I realized I had to find a new salon—something that isn’t easy after decades of loyalty.
After researching reviews and photos online, I decided to try AM Beauty & Hair. I called and spoke with Sarah, the owner, explained my situation, and she was incredibly kind, understanding, and patient. She listened, reassured me, and worked with my schedule (which isn’t easy with a toddler) to get me in as soon as possible.
From the moment I arrived, the experience was completely different. The salon is clean, welcoming, and beautifully set up. The team is friendly, professional, and genuinely seems happy to be there. Everything ran on time, and even the little details—like the massage chairs at the shampoo stations—made it feel like a true treat.
Chelsea did my hair, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. What I was asking for was simple—natural-looking highlights with an ash blonde tone—but my previous salon had left me with uneven, brassy, multi-toned hair. Chelsea absolutely nailed it. My colour is now exactly what I originally wanted: clean, blended, natural, and beautifully toned.
I left feeling like myself again, which is something I don’t take for granted since I rarely get time to treat myself. I’ve already rebooked and am genuinely looking forward to my next appointment—something I never thought I’d say after my previous experience.
If you’re nervous about trying a new salon, especially after a bad experience, I can’t recommend AM Beauty & Hair enough. They truly care, they listen, and they deliver exactly what they promise!

Just had my hair done here and I don't think I can ever go anywhere else. Chelsea was amazing! She listened, adjusted and made suggestions based on what I was looking for compared to what my hair could actually do. I enjoyed a nice coffee. And the chairs massage your butt while you get your hair washed! Highly recommend!

From the moment we walked in, the entire experience felt amazing. The team welcomed us with such warm, positive energy. The hair wash was incredibly relaxing, and those chairs? So comfortable!
Even though I had just booked a styling appointment, my stylist took the time to consult with me, really understand what I wanted, and created a look that turned out absolutely beautiful—it lasted all night!
There was such a lovely, uplifting vibe throughout the place. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! ✨
