“I've been getting my hair cut and/or coloured by Deidre for over 10 years now. Like another reviewer mentioned, I've regretted it the few times I strayed and tried to go somewhere closer. No one has been able to layer and highlight my thick, dark hair as flatteringly as Deidre does. She's good at listening and giving you what you need, even when you don't know what that is yourself. She has also come up with creative low-maintenance ways to cover my grays over the years (I try not to colour my hair very often and pretty much only style it for special events). If you're looking for a new stylist, you definitely will not regret going to Cheveux Studio!“

“A wonderful atmosphere for a haircut. Hair salons tend to be overstimulating places for me, so this was a breathe of fresh air. When I walked in they were playing spa music and didn’t force any small talk about work, life, etc, which I greatly appreciated since I am an introvert. I asked for curtain bangs and layers and they delivered! The cut is perfect for me.Will definitely be back. They also do spa treatments, which is convenient!“

“This is not my usual spot (from Hamilton) to get my hair cut but I am so happy with my experience and love my hair. I will definitely be back.I ran into the shop because I had a few minutes to spare while my son grabbed something in the Walmart. I was greeted with a huge smile by Karen Sowers welcoming me to the salon. I told her I was in a bit of a hurry and she said well we better get busy then. She very quickly and efficiently asked me what I needed done and inquired about a wash. I was worried about time so I declined the wash and she started to cut my hair. All thru the process she was chatting with me asking questions about my adult son who I was waiting for. She told a couple of stories about her own son and raising boys. Man could we relate. Before I knew it my hair was cut, looking absolutely beautiful. Karen suggested a couple of products to help with the frizziness of my hair, but of course I was in a hurry and declined.... for now I paid for my hair, gave a small tip ( it should have been bigger) and ran out the door. I then sat in my car for another 20 minutes waiting for my son thinking about the amazing interaction with Karen. Next time I get the hair products and double the tip.Karen was amazing and so knowledgeable about my frizzy hair.“
