Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced hairstylist, there was something to take away for all skill levels. Masuda’s teaching method was detailed, hands on, and thorough. The class size was small allowing all Students to jump in and ask questions as she taught, make our mistakes, and perfect/clean up our work. Her dedication for her Students success is evident in her teaching style. The course was three 8 hour days, with two looks taught per day.What really stood out for me in this course was that it’s four parts, and more of an academy vs a course:1. Watching pre-recorded videos prior to the class to prepare us for the course2. Taking the UBHC3. On the job training after the course (getting to shadow Masuda on a real booking)4.
