Do not let the Dominican lady do your hair! I am extremely disappointed considering my mom and i have been going to Magy’s salon for years.
1. She did something wrong with the hair dye chemicals because my scalp burned unusually more than it should have. 2. She forgot to put a timer on and let my hair and scalp burn for 1 hour and 10 minutes. 3. After she washed it, a chunk of my hair fell out due to her mishandling the chemicals. 4. She gave me the wrong advice when i first came in and told me not to cut my damaged hair ends if i put in clip in hair extensions so that it blends better. 5. After she saw the aftermath of my damaged hair due to her negligence, she suggested i cut a little bit of the ends. Then she proceeded to cut a LOT off despite me asking her not to. 6. She blow dried by hair so harshly pulling and tugging at it. 7. I called her today to explain to her the damage she caused as my hair is still dry and shorter than i asked for— i was very nice on the phone about it though. But she laughed and mocked me and denied all of the above. 9. It took me years to get my hair healthy and to a long length and she put me back to worse than it was when i started my healthy hair journey. 8. She is a gossiper and talks bad about clients and makes weird faces.
Do not let her touch your hair. The Dominican woman seems like a very jealous kind of person. Avoid her. Saddened that when i complained to Magy (who is actually very good at doing hair), she was not very receptive of my experience and took her employees side. I have known Magy since i was a little kid, so i am heartbroken that she did not care about how much this experience has disturbed me.

love, love, love. Took me as a walk in multiple times, fixed my botched bleach from other salons and very good with bleach. I recommend highly!

I had an amazing experience at this salon..what a transformation 😌 !! Such a warm & inviting environment..Jackie is truly a master of her craft 🙌🏽 She brought life back to my dull curls with a wonderful trim & replaced my old blonde highlights with the EXACT shade of color I requested, which I've received SO many compliments on 🍒😍 The blow-out she gave me was next level..her, Margarita & the entire team truly care about the health of their client's hair & are true professionals 👏😊 I'm already excited for my next appointment 💜!!

I have been driving over an hour for this salon for years! They gave me beautiful blonde hair that I always got compliments on and when I was ready to dye my hair back to dark brown they helped me with a smooth transition. All the staff are so kind, knowledgeable and easy to talk to, they work hard and always make sure I leave with the perfect hair. It is a lovely salon with great people !
