We love our tiny home! Payam and Lee are fantastic designers and excellent craftsmen. We both really liked the original P01 model design, and decided to go with a few modifications in the heating system and exterior aesthetic. Instead of propane heating, we went with a split unit and in floor heating system, since we were mostly going on grid, but Payam and Lee were also able to fit the home with vents and propane lines in case we ever transition to an off grid set up where energy consumption would have to be minimized. Payam and Lee at Instead have been a pleasure to work with. We ordered and received project 01 and have been living in it full time for 6 months. Payam and Lee were communicative throughout the process. They followed through with timelines or communicated well when obstacles were encountered outside of Instead’s control. They were eager to include me in the design and build of my home. It was clearly important for them to understand how the home would be used and what my values were in life, so that the home could be a reflection of that.
