This location is a little dated inside and out, but it has a decent amount of stock and animals to look at! I am a bit concerned about the hay balls that the rodents (such as the guinea pigs pictured) have, as they can be hazardous, as they can get their heads stuck in them. Other than that, I don’t see other real concerns during my visit.
I got a fish tank the other day I use to have a 60 gallon but its been over 14 years so i just decided to go with a 10 gallon the guy told me to set it up fill it and let the filter run for 4 days then bring in a sample if the water and they woild test it.
We went looking for fish finally yesturday...didnt like the selection so went to the one downtown and they said that realistically its supposed to run longer and theres nothing to filter...of course its going to be clean water because its literally just tap water ..you need some sort of ammonia to allow it to do what it needs to do ...when the fish poop etc it gets filtered through but with nothing in the tank

PetSmart is overall a great place, the staff is nice and the products are great but, I’ve been waiting for weeks for my dogs grooming appointment and they wouldn’t let her go till she got her shots and before we could even get in the car to go they called and canceled the appointment BECAUSE they only have 2 groomers available and they BOTH called out sick, the next appointment they offered was NOV 30th which is outrageous.
